It's just like that movie, Speed 2, except with a bus instead of a boat!

This next mission is a cute one, you'll find it easier than the rest, but it'll offer its share of challenges as well. You start off with a scene that'll give you a nice look at the sort of banter that goes on between the main characters. When you have to respond to Mayl's mail (That sounds too weird) don't let the choice fool you, you have to accept the invitation to go shopping, despite how vehemently any normal young boy would protest to such a situation. Now you'll have to get the response back to Roll. Hopefully you already have @Mayl so you can just go into the net from Lan's computer. Just take the first right after entering the net, and get to Roll's access point easily. Now while you're in the net, you might as well look around and pick up some new stuff with the new links you got, or you can wait until after you get back from Dentown with Miyu's link.

When you're ready, jack out and head to the metroline, Mayl won't be there, so go in and then out again so you can meet her. (And you get to witness some more cute banter, isn't this just the best RPG ever?) Now you can go back into the metroline and get a ticket to Dentown, time to go explore the new area.

When you get Mayl's next mail (heh) don't forget to read and equip your new Roll V2 chip, it's like Roll, only stronger. You'll also find your meeting place is block 1, Dentown is set up like a cross, you start in block 3, which is in the southeast sector. Block one is in the Northwest, Block 2 is in the Northeast, and Block 4 in the Southwest. You can start your journey by going up to block two where you can find Miyu's shop, and fight your first battle against Skullman.

Navi Battle: Skullman EXE
HP= 600
Speed= medium
Movement= all enemy tiles, teleport, random column, pursues Mega Man by matching rows.

This guy is the best, (and I'm only partially saying that because of the huge bias) His main attack consists of a shockwave like attack, blue flames which he sends straight forward, unlike shockwave, they're not affected by X-Panel, unfortunately. As the battle wears on, he may disconnect his arms which appear in the top and bottom right corners of your area and take turns moving in on you, the arms hurt a lot, so you'll want to destroy them quick. His ultimate attack is the skull crush, his head will fly off, become really big. and then perform a Quake move on you, look out for it. It might be a good idea to save you strong chips until he launches his arms, if you can phase him with the attack, the arms will disappear and the attack is cancelled. Your prize for winning is /Miyu.

Once you're done listening to Miyu rant about spirits, you can try jacking into her mirror and the vase in the corner. You can get a Quake 3 chip in the vase and @Miyu and a barrier chip in the mirror.

When you're ready to start the main mission, head to the Block 1 bus stop. The traffic system malfunctions and cars explode into tiny pieces just by driving into each other. WWW makes a rather lame attempt to look like saviours in the situation. It's your job to jack into the traffic light and fix things.

In the traffic network, you'll have to go in circles, running through colour orbs, changing the type of ground you can walk on. You have to go all the way around so the floor where you started is red. The first part is fairly easy, but the others get pretty maze-like sometimes. Before you finish the area, there's one sidetrack right next to the control platform that can lead you to some zenny on one side and a Bubbler chip on the other.

Once you change the signal, take Lan into the central area and herd the gullible townsfolk away from Madd. Instead of doing something evil, like killing him, Madd just leaves angry and turns Mayl's bus into a speeding time bomb. And instead of doing something heroic, like trying to stop her, Lan just stands there as she slowly gets away. Oh well, no time to worry about the intricacies, you gotta fix some more traffic lights.

As you try to leave the area, you'll find out about Mayl's predicament, head southwest to block 4 and jack into the south-most light. In this section, you'll have to make a few more sidetracks to get all the items, but it's still pretty straight-forward. Once you're done with that, you'll have to head to block 2 to do it again because you were too slow the first time. Jack into the light closest to Miyu's and continue.

Here, you should take the first left, so you can get the Heater chip, then go back and all the way around the red loop so you can reach the path down below. You'll eventually come to a 3-way intersection with a colour orb in the middle, use this in that you can enter and exit from different ways and fix the signal however you wamt. Of course it barely matters, there are plenty of ways you can reach the zenny to the right and then head up to get to the control platform. And just before you reach it, it shouldn't take long to veer off to the right to get the Firetowr chip. Once you're done there, you'll have slown down the bus a bit but you still have to actually stop it, now it's off to Block 3, jack in next to the bus stop and get to it again.

In the next area it will be a bit more maze-like, with the first colour orb you come to, you'll have to go around the blue bridge instead of going directly for it, the designers are getting trickier. From the new path you won't have to step far off to reach the 1000 Zenny before proceeding. Soon you can get some more HP Memory as well. And pretty soon you'll reach the control platform, overall it's still pretty easy.

Now You've managed to slow down the bus even more, to stop it, head up to central Dentown and you'll automatically Jack in right ahead of the bus. From here you'll have to got through 4 different control platforms to fix all four lights and avert the catastrophe. The path in the network will be pretty clear, if you run into a snag you should easily be able to reason around it, just go back and try another way. Before you reach the first panel, you may want to pick up the Aqua Towr chip just to the upper left. The next path will have some easy to spot Zenny along the way. On the third path you'll qickly come to a 3-way split in the road. Here just take the left path, the other two may look shorter, but they don't work. On the final path, go through the orb to pick up the Recov80 chip, then go back through and take the next bridge to go down and then to the left. There's nothing further up anyway.

With the bus finally stopped, Madd will call you and threaten the explosion of the bus anyway, however you'll quickly learn from Colourman that Roll fortunately intervened (Well, fortunate for everyone but Roll, and I guess the WWW...) You'll have to go in and help her, jack into the bus and go and fight Colourman.

WWW boss Battle: Colourman EXE
HP= 600
Speed= slow
Movement= far right column, adjacent sliding. Doll Drones- Red-Left enemy column, adjacent sliding, Blue- middle enemy column, adjacent sliding.

The problem with this guy is that he tends to be hiding behind his drones a lot, the drones are invincible and will attack when they are lined up with you, the Red one uses Fire Tower attacks and the Blue one uses Water Tower, it's a lot like the types of enemies you encountered in this stage, either Fire or Water elemental. Colourman himself doesn't do much, just remember to use straightforward attacks on him, members of the ground wave family, (Like Dynawave if you were lucky ennough to snag some off the Blue Mets you encountered in the level) work good here. Homing attacks will probably go and strike the closest enemy, Roll is insideous for this, so you may not want to bother with her unless you have some HP to recover (She goes for Colour sometimes, I'm not sure how to help it). Colour will eventually bring the march to a close and prop himself up on those !s on his stomach while the ball he was rolling around on bounces after you like a bubbler or heater bomb. While this attack commences, the dolls and Colour will be motionless, making the fight actually a bit easier. It won't last long though and the dolls will start moving again, attacking as usual, while the ball continues to bounce. If you can deal a heavy blow to Colour (In excess of 100 HP), the ball may disappear and he can release it later, but more likely, the fight will continue like this until he's dead, which shouldn't be very long.

With Colour defeated, you'll get to see some more cute banter, and then a nice new look into a WWW meeting. Overall, this mission is pretty easy, and seems more like it was put in the game to develop the relationship between the characters, I don't have a problem with that, in fact I liked this part of the game a lot, too bad the next one is where things get annoying...
