Finally, a School That Teaches All the Important Subjects...

As you start the game, you will find the main character "Lan" doing my favorite pastime, sleeping! Megaman will pester and bug the heck out of Lan 'till he decides to get up. Once you do, you learn Lan's dad has created a new "PowerUp" for Megaman. Once you have control of Lan, quickly move over and pick up what looks like a blue credit card lying on the table. That's your MegamanEXE Pet program. After that, head downstairs, eat your breakfast (getting a chip), and go outside outside. You'll meet up with Mayl outside your door as Lan wonders why he's always walking to school with her. (I swear it's as if they think we don't know the story of the birds & bees, hehe). After a scene of talking and learning about an organization called the "WWW" who are bent on Net Domination, you will be in school.

Once in school the teacher will begin the training session. This is where you will learn the basics of "NetBattling". Pay Attention, for once in a game, this training session helps. After 3 rounds of battling and learning, you will have free roaming ability in the classroom. Most of the kids tell you what you already know. The Girl in the top Corner of the room in a red dress is named "Yai". She just asks if you know what a pet is. If you haven't been paying attention and need to know, she'll tell you. If you have been a good little gamer and know most of the basics, head for Dex in the SouthWest corner. He's the chubby bully looking kid in a green shirt. He will ask you if you want to battle his pet "GutsmanEXE". Say yes, this is a relatively simple battle.

Movement= All Red Spaces, random teleport

This navi Gutsman is a sinche really. He moves around doing the same attack as the Mettools you faught in training. Simply fire away at him, and use chips at your disposal. Don't stay too close to him, if he gets right beside you, he will send a devistating slam punch into your face. He will also do a rather large smash into the floor, leaving a whole row cracked. If you stand on any cracked space, it will fall out from below you, so stay away from the cracks. Keep this up until Gutsman is scrap metal. You've just finished your first navi Battle!
